Surveying on behalf of the state and municipalities

Field conducts hundreds of surveys every year on behalf of municipalities. We have experienced managers who carry out the entire process from notification to delivery of SOSI files and completed protocols for cadastral registration. We have property and cadastral data for all of Norway, so all we need from the municipality is the subdivision decision.

Land surveying on behalf of private individuals

The surveying of boundaries is subject to a municipal monopoly, so we cannot place boundary markers or conduct surveying on our own initiative. However, we can stake out your property boundaries and mark them with wooden stakes, where these are marked as green “safe boundaries” in the land register.

Private boundary agreement

In certain cases, private individuals can have an agreement on an existing boundary entered in the cadastre without a survey being carried out. The condition is that it is an existing boundary, for example, shown incorrectly, missing, or with an incorrect cadastral number, and where all parties concerned sign a joint agreement. We can help draw up and register your private agreement without having to go through the municipality.

Cadastral registration without a completed survey (MUF)

Does the municipality have control over the number of MUFs and deadlines? It can be difficult to prioritize the completion of such transactions. In such cases, the boundary location has already been decided. This means that completion can be easy to carry out and therefore ideal to outsource. Give us a copy of the decisions and we’ll keep track of deadlines and completion.

Real estate advice

In our line of work, difficult issues can arise from time to time — and there are often few people to ask for advice. Does the outdoor area of the sections need to be measured?
