Stake-out surveying

Staking out in surveying is transferring the building design onto the land itself. Our land surveyors have extensive experience on construction sites, helping our customers know where to build and place different objects in the right position and to the correct level. 

Surveying and mapping

Our specialist land surveyors use proven measurement methods to map existing situations in terrain as a foundation for design, documentation and control. Collaborating with our customers, we agree on the purpose and goals for each project and then choose the best solution for measurements and delivery.  

Bathymetric LiDAR

Bathymetric LiDAR is a technique to capture geospatial data of the coastline and shallow waters, facilitating efficient and fast hydrographic data. At Field, we use airborne laser scanning to gather laser data on land and water and have extensive experience in bathymetric laser scanning (green laser) in sea and freshwater areas, including rivers.

Topographical lidar

Laser scanning has gradually become a standard method for digitizing terrain in 3D. Field has been leading the way as the first company in Nordics to start with airborne and later car-borne laser scanning. 

Corridor mapping

Field captures high-quality laser data and aerial images for corridor mapping, accurately mapping linear infrastructure such as roads, pipelines, railways, and powerlines. We use different platforms — airplanes, helicopters and drones — to collect information along the infrastructure.

Oblique imagery

Oblique imagery is aerial photography that is collected at an angle. Our customers use oblique imagery for wide-ranging purposes including access to photorealistic 3D models of cities, façade photos, terrain models based on image matching and detailed mapping of infrastructure.

Orthophoto

An orthophoto is an aerial image with the same geometric properties as a map. Unlike an uncorrected aerial photograph, an orthophoto has equal scale everywhere and is correctly located on the earth’s surface. With orthophoto, correct measurements, visualization and analysis can be made directly in the detailed image.
